Background

Lake College is planning to offer a new Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. It is aimed at motivated high school graduates and adults who wish to find employment in office administration or who wish to join the management track in a wide range of industries. It will require 60 units of college-level coursework with focus on:

business fundamentals;
practical career skills;
standard office technologies; and
superior business practices.

This program will be unlike existing college programs in the region. It will be an accelerated program of fixed duration, so you cannot drag it out over three or four years. We will have small classes with individual attention from our experienced instructors. The emphasis will be on real-world skills and experiences, and all students will go on an internship as well as gaining hands-on business experience managing the campus bookstore.

Lake College also provides placement assistance to help get you started in your new career.
